About the Fire Department
  • We are an all-volunteer department
  • You must be 18+ years of age and reside in the Glade Park, CO area
  • We are the last fire district in Mesa County that is not tax-based. We fund ourselves through a letter asking for donations and from the Glade Park outdoor movies, which are shown for 12 weeks in the summer.
  • There is NO FEE for any training

Movies Under the Stars


Friday Nights at the GPVFD - 16400 DS Road
HOURS
Grill opens at 6pm, closes when movie starts
Concession Stand: 5:30pm until movie intermission

Grill: Burgers, Hot Dogs, Polish Sausage
Concessions: Pop, Water, Coffee, Hot Chocolate, Candy, Popcorn, Nachos, Chips, Home Baked Items
ACTIVITIES
Children's Games (Ages 5 and under) and many new activities. Volleyball, Hay Rides, Sign cards for the troops.
